Water is running from upstairs in the hallway. If the color were not brown, you would think it as a man-made waterfall. As the winter comes, the central heating is on. So, heating pipes breaking has become a hot topic in the news. I watch LNTV everyday. And I have seen several news reports about that.
Then, this afternoon, as I was listening to music, I heard loud sound like water running from the hallway. As my mom opened the door, we saw “waterfall”. Yeah, just like those reported in the news. But, the damage was not large. Someone turned off the water-pipe controller. We used broom to sweep the water. After 15 mins later, things were under control.
Later, we know that it was because of a worker’s careless work that caused this. People on the fifth floor got a worker to fix their central heating system. It was not hot when the heating is on. But this man forgot to turn off the controller after he went out to see the pipes underground.
We all need a warm and a not wet home. When we are doing our job, please try to be careful. He he …Well, have a good day anyway.
